KAMLOOPS, B.C. –The team at ARPA Investments is delighted to be a finalist for the Georgie Awards 2022 in the Best Public-Private Partnership category for the development project The Colours on Spirit Square Stollery Suites on Kamloops’ North Shore.
The Georgie Awards are presented by the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of BC, celebrating the outstanding effort of projects in the residential construction industry. The competition highlights development projects that demonstrate a commitment to safe work sites, where industry professionals, government officials and industry partners in British Columbia come together for the community.
The Colours on Spirit Square Stollery Suites is a development project of ARPA Investments in partnership with ASK Wellness Society and BC Housing. The two-phase development includes the Stollery Suites with 47 units providing affordable housing to senior residents and The Colours on Spirit Square with 38 market units and commercial space. The project was celebrated by BC Housing, considering it an example of community collaboration in providing convenient, inclusive and unique affordable living options, supporting the growing needs of the region. The design of the Stollery Suites and The Colours on Spirit Square not only meets the current needs of its residents, but it also compliments potential residential needs with future proofing for EV charging and solar power connectivity.
The Georgie Awards 2022 winners will be announced on June 4th at the event’s 30th gala in Vancouver. ARPA Investment partners, Joshua Knaak, Parm Mahal and Jas Mahal would like to acknowledge the many community partners and sub trades for their outstanding work on this collaborative effort and wish the best of luck to their fellow finalists.
